How much of what we do is determined by fate, and how much of our own free will? What is written is written, but we can not see it. So we think we have a free will.
In relative terms, we are free: God gave us His will and we can do what we want in the world. This is His way to make us understand the consequences of our own free act.
In absolute terms, we are not free. There is only one will, the will of God.
In relative terms, we are the creators of our theater. Day after day, through our every thought and action, we give shape to our next condition. So as an actor can continue to play his role without identifying with his role, we can here on Earth to lead a life in accordance with God’s will, without being no longer identified with the role we are playing.
